The Women's Motorcyclist Foundation's charitable/rider training programs are open for registration. Each program is designed to teach, improve and/or hone existing riding skills plus raise funds for breast cancer research. Every penny raised by the riders will go directly to the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation.

The expectations for fund raisers are reasonable in light of the economy. Plus, your travel expenses and meals can be deducted when you file your income tax as both the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation and the WMF are Federally recognized 501(c)3 tax exempt organizations.

Redwood Forests Interactive Map

Walking in a redwood forest high on the list of things to do when you're visiting Northern California. Save the Redwoods League provides an interactive map that lets you click through to find the forests, where you can look further into 36 different redwood parks. You can also look up parks by location or zone. Clicking through further you'll even find out things like how many miles of trails exist, whether or not the forest has a campground or visitor center, and highlights of that particular forest. Make sure that visiting a redwood park is part of your Northern California journey! (Please note that "Southern" forests on this map means the southern forests in Northern California.) See Elephant Seals in Santa Cruz on Hwy 1 in Winter
